Welcome to the e-agrostat conference

Dear Colleagues,

The AgroStat conference is driven by the Agro-Industry Group of the French Statistical Society (SFdS), which is a non-profit organisation bringing together researchers, engineers, teachers and users of statistics. The 16th Edition of the AgroStat Conference (AgroStat 2021) will take place virtually on September 14-15 2021 through a platform (gather.town) that will enable 1-to-1 interactions with your peers, as if you were participating to a real event!

The AgroStat 2021 conference will reunite internationally recognized researchers and industrial organizations representatives, to take stock of advances in statistics, express their needs and to anticipate future challenges. The AgroStat 2021 conference will provide engineers, modelers, statisticians, developers and end-users, a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and prospects around novel statistical methods applied to agro-food and sensory sciences. We expect to gather a significant number of delegates from over the world to participate in a comprehensive scientific programme that will include keynote lectures and oral communications, allocated in sessions focusing on the following themes: Sensometrics, Chemometrics, Experimental designs, Process control, Risk analysis, Big Data and Software tools.

As part of the conference, a quiz is organized, which will take place on Gather.town throughout the congress. This social event will be an opportunity to meet and exchange in a more informal way.

It is mandatory to register to the conference to have access to the content but this virtual edition will be free of charge for the participants (fees covered by the Agro-Industry group).

If you want to support the organization of this event, you can register as a member of the French Statistical Society.

To keep track of the latest news from the Agro-Industry group, you can also follow us on our LinkedIn page.

Free registration for the first 200 participants.
